6 Years Ago, I Made a Decision That Changed My Life Forever… 🚀 On 1st April 2019, after 20 years in a prestigious organization as an Executive Director earning a 6-figure income, I submitted my resignation. Why? Because one core value mattered more than security—FREEDOM. That decision wasn’t easy. But looking back, it was the best one I ever made. Here are 6 key lessons that shaped my transformation: 🔑 Lesson 1: What do you really want? On 14th April 2016, my mentor Bob Proctor asked me a life-changing question: "What is your purpose?" That single question made me rethink my entire life. 🔑 Lesson 2: You only need to know WHAT you want. I had no idea HOW I would transition from a corporate job to entrepreneurship. Bob told me: "How will show up when you're willing to pay the price and follow the process." And he was right! 🔑 Lesson 3: If you don’t ask, the answer is always NO. Fear held me back from coaching, thinking, "What if my boss finds out?" Bob’s advice? "Ask for permission!" I did—and got approval to coach part-time. 🔑 Lesson 4: You can’t have Freedom & Security both. On 14th January 2019, Doug Dane from Bob’s team told me: "You must give up security to gain freedom." That day, he held me accountable to submit my resignation on 1st April 2019. 🔑 Lesson 5: A big decision is not enough—you must commit daily. From 14th January to 1st April 2019, I wrote my decision daily and sent it to Doug. That accountability made my resignation on 1st April peaceful and empowering. 🔑 Lesson 6: Every challenge is an opportunity. Fast forward 9 months—the COVID-19 pandemic hit! Like the rest of the world, I wasn’t prepared.
