redrawing my old art | Cloud Strife redraw | speedpaint

I'm planning to make this a yearly redraw (I have 2013, 2023, and now 2024). I'm still trying to learn art fundamentals and how to paint digitally, but I feel like a yearly drawing is a good way to see progress. I feel like I'm a little scared to paint darker shadows which is something I'd like to work on. Character is Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy 7.
