The persecuted church not praying for revival 🤯🤯🤯
thealtar.us One of the things we deeply admire about believers in the Middle East is that they don’t focus on contending for revival. It's a fascinating contrast because, unlike what we often see, they aren’t chasing after revival as a concept. In fact, the church there is living in revival, even though they may not recognize it as such. They don’t have the same framework or language we use, such as attending conferences or praying for revival. Their prayers are simple but powerful; they pray for what Jesus instructed—asking for the salvation of the lost, opportunities to share the gospel, courage to lay down their lives, and for the Lord to open doors. Their focus is on living present and obedient lives, without measuring success by worldly standards or metrics. They don’t concern themselves with whether they’re successful or not in the way we might expect. Instead, their measure of success is rooted in intimacy with God and obedience to His will. It’s a refreshing and humbling perspective, where the depth of their relationship with God and their faithful service are their true indicators of faithfulness. ==== Jose Diaz is a passionate preacher and spiritual leader known for his inspiring messages and deep commitment to spreading the gospel.
