10 Years of Drawing … And I Still Feel Like a Failure | Psyduck Jelly Gouache Painting
Reupload !!! Hey everyone, Kay here! In today’s video, I’m opening up about something that’s been on my mind for a long time—self-doubt in art. Even after drawing for nearly 10 years, I still find myself questioning my skills. Am I improving? Am I good enough? Is my art where it should be? In this video, I reflect on my art journey, the struggles I’ve faced, and the pressure I put on myself to improve. From comparing myself to others to dealing with burnout and perfectionism—it hasn’t been easy. But I also share what I’ve learned along the way and how I’m trying to overcome these struggles. Oh, and I also painted Psyduck (or Enton, as we call it in German) for this video! I wanted to experiment with jelly gouache and practice painting backgrounds. Let’s just say... I may have gone a little overboard with the raindrops. 😂 If you’ve ever felt stuck or doubted your own art, let’s talk about it in the comments! I’d love to hear your experiences.
