GBI remarks after trooper shot, person shot and killed during 'Cop City' clearing opeartion

A Georgia State Patrol trooper has been shot and was rushed to Grady Hospital on Wednesday morning. The alleged shooter was shot and killed on scene. There is currently a heavy police presence in the area of Constitution Road near Bouldercrest Road in southeast Atlanta. There are also more than a dozen officers at Grady.
