TCRC - Christmas Specials 2024 (Part 2)

This footage was taken on the 24th and 26th December 2024. Christmas Eve saw the final runs of the Santa Specials with resident steam locomotives GWR King Class 6000 "King George V" and GWR 94xx Pannier Tank 9487 with Class 33 D6551. Boxing Day was the most busy time over the Christmas Period and as a result to this a second passenger train was pressed into service creating a yellow steam and diesel timetable, However due to the unavailability of 9487 Class 31 31108 was pressed into action to replace it. Boxing Day also saw a driver experience event with resident Class 33 D6551 operating from Oakham Platform 2 to the Siding and back, This made way for Class 24 D5135 to take command of the main diesel services.
