Echinacea purpurea also known as purple coneflower is an awesome perennial to grow in the home garden. It's a native plant that is great for those all important pollinators but is also a very beautiful and functional plant for garden design. What's great about coneflowers is that they are very easy to grow successfully from seeds. Whether you buy the seed to get started or collected some from plants you were growing you can get these native plants going with just a few steps.
