A June Cottage Garden Tour | Welcome Summer | The Southern Daisy
Happy First Day of Summer!!!! Today we're taking a stroll through my backyard paradise, a beautiful slice of Heaven on Earth, that just two years ago was merely a lawn. After transforming it into a vegetable garden last year, I decided this year to bring to life the whimsical vision of a traditional cottage garden. In my garden, rows don't exist. Instead, a harmonious blend of flowers, herbs, roses, vegetables, and fruits coexist, all intertwined in a beautiful tapestry that has no beginning and no end. Every plant you'll see in this tour has been started from seed by me, through the winter sowing method, or in my indoor seed starting station under grow lights. It's been a labor of love, and the results speak for themselves. Though I have many years of experience in the horticulture and landscaping industry, this venture into starting my own flowers from seed is a new endeavor. The process has been such an incredible, empowering journey (and its only just begun), that I've thoroughly enjoyed and already want to recreate year after year, learning more with each passing season.
