2-year-old girl critically injured in Newark hit-and-run now expected to be OK, family says
The girl`s mother was at a nearby church at the time. Surveillance video shows her running toward her injured daughter. Her other daughter, a newborn, was in her arms. The injured girl was conscious when authorities arrived on scene. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is now expected to be OK, her family said.
