December 7, 2025 | Advent Week 2 | Preparing the Way — Living as People of the Light
Advent’s second week invites us to hear the voice of John the Baptist calling out in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord.” (Matthew 3:1–12) Fr. Gary reminds us that as the days grow darker, our need for light becomes unmistakable. Light brings clarity, hope, and warmth—not only to our eyes, but to our minds and hearts. Christ is that light, the one who exposes what needs healing and guides us toward a deeper, transformed faith. This weekend, we explore how John the Baptist used his influence to point others to Jesus, and how we too are called to reflect Christ’s light where we live, work, and serve. God has placed each of us exactly where we are for a purpose: to illuminate the world with small acts of encouragement, kindness, and invitation. As we continue our journey through Advent, may we step out of darkness, walk in Christ’s light, and help others discover the hope found in Him. Join us for this weekend’s Mass as we prepare our hearts, turn toward Christ, and become lights for others in a world that needs it. 🙏 Mass Times: Saturday 4:30 PM | Sunday 8:30 AM (livestream) & 11:00 AM #SEAS #SundayMass
