The A Team - Ed Sheeran (play-along for ukulele)

This is a screen-capture video from a TuneLing for "The A Team" from the album "+", by Ed Sheeran. This song is also available in a separate TuneLing video for guitar! Notes: This song was Ed Sheeran's first single, released in 2011, to great acclaim and success. It still holds up well today, and it's sad - but timeless. On the ukulele, this isn't really difficult, but you might not love the E chord shape we use - depending on the size of your fingers, If so, you can substitute another version of the E chord, and in some places, you could actually substitute the AMaj7 shape for it - but we'll leave that up to you, if you want to do some experimenting! You might also notice that we show the D chord with two different fingerings, depending on where it's used. The typical fingering uses fingers 1, 2, and 3, in that order from fourth string to second string. But when we're moving to D from F#m, we show the 3, 1, 2 fingering instead of 1, 2, and 3. This makes the transition from F#m easy, because only finger 1 has to move - the other two stay in place. Actually, the 3-1-2 fingering is very useful in many situations (including on the guitar!), because it can be pretty hard to squish three fingers together tightly enough for the 1-2-3 shape to work, unless your fingers are very small. So play with it a bit - you might like it! Outside of all that, this one is not too complicated, but it's certainly powerful, and very satisfying to play. Enjoy!
