GREENHOUSE WINTER CLEAN and Overwintering Tender Plants

Welcome to Adam’s Gardening Guides. Before I put bring all my tender plants into my greenhouse for cold protection I give the glazing and structure a thorough clean. By cleaning the glass inside and out you’ll let the maximum amount of light through to support the growth of plants through winter. Giving the framework and staging a really good clean and tidying any debris away will also help remove any pests that might be hiding away and overwintering, making sure pest problems don’t survive to reinfest plants next season. In this video I’ll show you how I clean my greenhouse and prepare for winter, and the plants I bring under cover in autumn to ensure they’ll survive winter and flourish again next summer.
