Batman Actors Physical Transformation For Their Role

Just how tough is a superhero workout? It’s enough to leave anyone hurtin’, but the efforts from these actors didn’t go unnoticed. From the early days of Batman to the most recent iterations, one shared experience for the actors has been going through the wringer to achieve the fitness needed to play these roles. Robert Pattinson may have joked about not training, but that was far from the truth - a bland diet and grueling workouts made for wild physical transformations, but at a cost. The actor did get into the swing of it at one point but post-filming - well, let’s just say it would take him a few days to be able to move in the way he does in the movie! Zoë Kravitz went to work as well, even studying how domestic and wild cats moved around to figure out how she would move as Catwoman! Colin Farrell is unrecognizable in The Batman, but when he signed on, he had no idea that almost his entire face would be covered by prosthetics! Ben Affleck knew when he signed on to play the Dark Knight that the audiences would expect him to look the part - so he got to work - but it wasn’t so simple this time around. The actor, being a bit older, quickly realized just how much extra care he’d have to take with his body, tending to aching muscles and clicking joints! Anne Hathaway went crazy at the gym and kept a clean diet going so she could do all she needed to for the movie, with a major emphasis on making sure she fit into the suit! No matter how they did it, every actor committed and brought their superhero game to the table!
