For Zone 7 & other similar regions think about planting your bulbs in mid-November to early December. Dig large kidney-shaped holes to create a drifting effect that flows with your existing landscape. Your hole should be 6inches deep or 2.5x the height of your bulb. Place your bulbs with the pointed end up about one to 2 inches apart or about 5 bulbs per square foot. Be sure the soil is cold enough before planting Cover your hole with soil & spray down the area with enough water to fully stature the soil.
