Finnegan the Greatest Dane
We said goodbye to one of the best old boys a family could ever hope for, Monday night. Finnegan was our first “baby” and he was a witness to so many wonderful events in our life. He was the most loyal and true companion. Finn loved to be wherever Nick was, even if that meant hanging out in the printshop all hours of the day or night while he worked, it didn’t matter to Finn cause Nick was there. You’ll see Finn in the background of most photos cause he just loved to be near his family. Finnegan had the gentlest soul and made us so happy in everyday life. He made us laugh at his big goofy antics, sitting like people on couches & benches, having to take one lap to the drive-in and back when him & Nick would return home from work everyday. Smelling every pole in the drive-in lot the morning after shows. (Peeing on a few) It was fun watching peoples faces when they would see Finn following me home with the stroller. “Wow” was the typical response, his stature was large, but he didn’t know it. He was so gentle and loved to be scratched and petted and when he got real comfortable with you he’d lean on your legs if your knees weren’t ready he might take you down. Finnegan was amazing with Hazel and really came to love her when she would feed him from her high chair. Finnegan was loved by so many. We’re grateful knowing that he had a wonderful life. He just was amazing, a one in a million, there’s going to be a Great Dane sized hole in our hearts and our home for years to come. We defiantly were lucky to call him ours. Thank you for letting us share him with you all.🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
