Let us believe that this Mother, standing at the foot of the Cross, will be by our side in our own sorrows. In that moment of great sorrow, Mary takes on a new mission. She became the mother of all. She whispers hope in sorrows and gives comfort. Her heart, pierced by the sorrows of Jesus, is now ready to welcome all her suffering children. Let us also be ready to stand with them in the sorrows of others.
