Like the Coral motif, the Kelp design has a main stem, though the meandering stitches coming off that stem are shorter and more regular. Susan adds a round little bulge to the end of each branch (the “gas bladder,” if you’re into seaweed anatomy!). Make sure you try this motif; its unusual shape may very well be the perfect match for a shape you’re trying to fill!
