How To Make Your Own Dog Cross-Stitch Pattern, Part 1

Episode 12: Here’s my first How-To video! It’s like Cross-Stitch 101 covering the basics of stitching, following a pattern, and supplies. And how I made my own pattern starting from a picture I took of my dog’s paw print in the snow to charting it on graph paper to use for this bookmark project. I tried to cover the basics enough that someone who hasn’t done cross-stitch before can follow the steps and do their own project. I took some close-ups of the patterns in hopes that those interested can take screenshots to print out for themselves. The bookmark shown here is just one item that could be made, other items could be done arranging the paw prints and hearts in different ways. In Part 2 I plan on making a dog related pattern that’s more “medium difficulty level”.
