Did Trump Repeal Obamacare?

Read more here: http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/... “Nearly one-third of Americans believe President Trump has repealed ObamaCare, according to a new The Economist–YouGov poll. Last week, Trump claimed the tax bill — which has since been signed into law — "essentially" repeals the Affordable Care Act. The Republican bill to overhaul the tax system eliminates the fine Americans pay for foregoing health insurance, known as the individual mandate. “When the individual mandate is being repealed, that means ObamaCare is being repealed,” Trump said in a Cabinet meeting at the White House. “We have essentially repealed ObamaCare and we will come up with something much better.” Despite Trump’s claim, however, the bill doesn’t fully repeal the Affordable Care Act, as other core parts of the law remain intact. The poll asked survey respondents to answer questions on Trump’s campaign promises, including whether respondents believe Trump has repealed ObamaCare. About 31 percent of those surveyed answered yes, 49 percent said no and 21 percent said they weren’t sure.” Hosts: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian Cast: Cenk Uygur, Ana Kasparian *** The Largest Online News Show in the World.
