We resume the theme of our early fall sermon series "A Good Life" -- Wisdom for Living Well from Proverbs, Job, and Esther. October 13, 2024 · 10:45 am · Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost The Call to Worship will be "Devotion." Rev. Chris Cottingham will lead a Responsive Scripture Reading of Psalm 124 and then the Passing of the Peace. The Song of Praise will be "On Eagle's Wing." The Offertory Hymn will be "My Shepherd Will Supply My Need." Richard Baldwin will give the Offertory Prayer. Richard Reynolds Huss will play "Come, Thou Almighty King" for the Offertory. The Sanctuary Choir will sing "Be Not Afraid." Rev. Jennifer McClung Rygg will preach the sermon "A Good Cause -- The Story of Esther," incorporating Esther 7:1-6, 9-10, 9:20-22. The Hymn of Response will be "Day By Day."
