Halo 4 - Legendary Walkthrough - Mission #8: Midnight
Game: Halo 4 Mission: Midnight Difficulty: Legendary Skulls: Iron, IWHBYD, Grunt Birthday Party Hello everyone and welcome to the last mission in my Halo 4 Legendary Walkthrough Guide. Once Master Chief and Cortana leave the Station they get to the Composer in a Broadsword fighter and have to maneuver through the Didact's defenses trying to get through before the Didact reaches Earth. Unfortunately, upon exiting slipspace, the Didact successfully makes it to Earth but the Infinity is there ready to defend. As the Chief disables the Didact's defenses, the Infinity prepares to assist the Chief by blowing a hole so the Chief can get inside. Successfully disabling the defenses and getting inside, the Chief and Cortana now have to get to the Didact through a swarm of Prometheans. Once Master Chief makes it to the Didact, Cortana utilizes her rampant personality spikes to disable to Didact's shield. Once the shield is disabled, the Didact destroys the console Cortana is in and Chief now brings the fight directly to the Didact. Once Chief defeats the Didact, with Cortana's help, he detonates the nuke, destroying the Composer and the ship itself. Cortana rescues him during the explosion and Cortana says her goodbyes to Master Chief who is not happy about learning about losing Cortana.
