Gospel Reading for Tuesday After the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Year C
✦ Gospel: Lk 19, 1-10 “The Son of Man has come to seek and to save what was lost.” ✦ The Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Luke. Jesus entered Jericho and was passing through. A man named Zacchaeus was there; he was a chief tax collector and very rich. He wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short, he could not see him because of the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree to get a better look, because Jesus was about to pass that way. When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for I must stay at your house today.” He quickly came down and welcomed him joyfully. When they saw it, they all began to grumble, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner!” Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, half of my possessions I give to the poor; and if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I pay back four times as much.” Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because he, too, is a son of Abraham. For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” This is the word of the Lord. #loichuatinmung #baidoctrongthanhle #loichuahomnay #loichua
