SUNRISE (A Weekly Reflection for SJDEFI Family) 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time Theme: "CHOICES!CHOICES!CHOICES!" No one, no cost, no thing is to take precedence over or interfere with our relationship with Jesus. Nothing is more important because it is our relationship with Jesus that shapes, defines, determines, and characterizes all our other relationships, all other aspects of our lives, who we are, what we say, and what we do. ~ Deacon Mike ~ "SUNRISE" is a weekly reflection for the SJDEFI Family. The title is based on the Gospel of St. Luke 1: 78-79 which says, "because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the 'SUNRISE' shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace”. “SUNRISE” gives: LIFE to our weary body and soul; HOPE to the promise of possibility; PEACE to go deeper to self and deepened relationship with God; and, LOVE to do or live what God desires. Be a SUNRISE to others!
