November, 22, 2020 - Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe -

This feast brings the liturgical year to a close.  The liturgical year captures on an annual basis the cycle of the life of Jesus Christ from the expectation of the Messiah by the Jewish people to his life here on earth and looking forward to the fulfillment of his coming again.  This feast is a celebration of hope because we live in the confidence that in the return of Jesus Christ our hopes will be fulfilled, the Kingdom of God will come on earth as it is in heaven.
