VIEWPOINT: No dilution of Britishness or Sovereignty after the Treaty, says Fabian Picardo
The Chief Minister says he envisions a vibrant, positive, growing Gibraltar after the Treaty, where Gibraltarians had access to Europe and the UK - with their passports and ID cards the most valuable in the world. Speaking on last nights Viewpoint, Fabian Picardo addressed concerns that Gibraltar might loose its Britishness. He said genuine British products will be sold more cheaply in Gibraltar than in the UK and anywhere else in Europe, because the UK has a tariff free agreement with the EU. Reinforcing that Britishness, Mr Picardo confirmed that London Black Cabs will soon be arriving on the Rock.
