On June 2009, just one day before Michael Jackson’s death, he was rehearsing for his final concert, This Is It. After rehearsals, he returned to his Los Angeles home at around 12:30 AM, where his personal nutritionist served him dinner. After eating, Michael went to his room to try and sleep, but due to insomnia, he couldn’t fall asleep. He then contacted his personal physician, who was already at the house. At 1:30 AM, his doctor gave him medications, including Diazepam, Lorazepam, and Midazolam, but none had any effect. Michael was also given several injections, but they were also ineffective. After about 8-10 hours of trying, Michael finally requested the drug Propofol. Initially, his doctor refused to give it to him, but by 10:30 AM, as Michael grew more desperate, the doctor reluctantly administered the Propofol injection. Michael fell asleep soon after, but shortly afterward, his doctor noticed that his body began to react poorly. His breathing stopped, and his pulse became extremely weak. The doctor tried CPR and administered other injections to counter the effects of Propofol, but nothing worked. At around 12:15 PM, Michael's personal physician called his assistant, but they were unavailable, so the doctor contacted another medical team, which arrived around 12:30 PM. Given the critical situation, Michael was taken to the hospital by 1:05 PM. Despite several attempts to revive him, his body showed no response.
