West Sac children's killings described as 'disturbing, horrific'

A West Sacramento neighborhood is in shock after three young children were killed by their father, police said. Officers described the slayings as “disturbing” and “horrific.” A man who lived across the way called the trio “great kids,” and said he saw the children just hours before they were found dead in their apartment.
