Audio Bible: EZRA (Contemporary English Version) With Text

The book of Ezra provides an account of the return of two groups of Jews from Babylon to Jerusalem, where they rebuilt the temple and their community. As students study the book of Ezra, they can learn about how the Lord enables His people to overcome opposition and accomplish His will. The book of Ezra in the Bible tells us that the king of Persia allowed the Jews to return to their own land. Not all the Jews returned to Judah, but some did return. The Jews started to build a temple (house of God) in Jerusalem. But the people who lived near them did not want the Jews back in the land. The central message of the book of Ezra is found in Ezra the scribe's moving confession on behalf of his people (Ezra 9:6–15). God had justly sent Israel into exile for its sins (9:6–7), but, in his perfect timing, the Jews who later returned to Jerusalem have received God's grace to revive them (9:8).ㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡㅡ 🚩Please LIKE, SUBSCRIBE If you like this Video #audiobible #contemporaryenglishversion #cev #bible
