San Diego Safari | San Diego Zoo | California | Perfect getaway for the whole family | Travel 2021 Hello my beautiful travelers! Today I bring you an experience that you will always remember, sit back and relax getting up close and personal with your favorite wildlife. But first subscribe to my channel and don’t miss any of my exciting adventures that you can live in your future travels. Today I bring to you...San Diego Safari Park. With 1800 acres of land, 300 species and more than 3,000 animals, the San Diego Zoo Safari Park is one of the best things to do in San Diego for all ages. In addition to viewing an enormous variety of Asian, African and other animals, visitors can participate in safaris ranging from trams to zip lines that bring them even closer to the animals. The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is unlike any other zoo experience, and I think your family and, especially the children, will love this experience. The San Diego Zoo’s 100 acres are home to a wide variety of extraordinary plants from habitats around the world, many of them rare in botanical collections. It is saving and protecting wildlife plants worldwide, working with partners to help save some of the most endangered plants, including coral trees, palms, cycads, and orchids that are nearly extinct in their native habitats. Whether you're going on a safari or hopping around the park, you’ll need to dress for a workout. Prepare by wearing proper clothes and shoes for the type of adventure you want to embark on. Wear layers you can shed as the sun warms things up in the afternoon. Hiking shoes or good walking shoes are a necessity for exploring the park, which is very spread out and hilly. You can even take an extra T-shirt in case some beautiful animal plays a little joke on you, like Francisco did with the bird poop! LOL! Something that amuse me is that you can spend the night at the Safari Park with your family! Campers of all ages are invited to experience a sleepover that includes up-close animal encounters and walking tours to observe the nighttime activities of wildlife. If you are a fan of wildlife these are a MUST DO activity. We just took a Cart Safari which is the best tour at San Diego Safari park if you’ve got small children or babies, or if you are tired of walking around for two hours just like we did. You’ll have a private tour driver/guide. They’ll be masked and the cart has a special speaker that helps them to be able to hear you to answer just about any question and direct you to wildlife feeding opportunities and photo stops. It cost $55+ per person and had the duration of 1 hour. There are another 18 safari choices for you to choose, so ask for prices, tour duration and age limits to pick the option that most excites you. There are several restaurants within the San Diego Safari Park, with appetizing food, full bar and amazing views. Never worry about finding something that you’ll enjoy eating at Safari Park. There’s plenty of options for everyone. In our case we went to Rancho Guejito Vineyard that was in the surrounding area where we tasted a delicious wine and finally had some food after our adventure in the wild animal kingdom. There are many ways to enjoy the San Diego Zoo Safari Park. I hope you find this video and all the practical tips useful! Whether you choose to do it on your own or embark on a safari, if you dress well, wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated, you'll have an unforgettable day in a zoo like no other.
