Family of slain politician, Mapiti Matsena unhappy with delay in the murder case
The family of slain politician, Mapiti Matsena says they're unhappy with yet another delay in the murder case. Matsena's alleged killer, Monoko Thoka, appeared at the Pretoria North Magistrate's Court. The case was postponed to the 4th of December. The family says the delays deny them closure and healing, and they hope the National Prosecuting Authority can provide some clarity. Thoka allegedly stabbed Matsena to death at the politician's home in July. Matsena had fired him months earlier.
