Massive fire as militants blow up gas pipeline supplying Jordan and Israel

Wide of flames from burning, ruptured pipeline STORYLINE: Masked gunmen blew up a terminal of the Egyptian natural gas pipeline to Israel and Jordan in a pre-dawn attack on Sunday. It was the twelfth such attack since the popular uprising that ousted long-time Egyptian leader Hosni Mubarak in February. The terminal is located in the town of El-Arish in the northern part of Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, about 30 miles (50 kilometres) west of the Israeli border. The motive of Sunday's attack is not clear.
