Our 4 Month Old Had Open Heart Surgery | Heart Surgery Story The hardest time of our life... Our 4 Month Old daughter had to have open heart surgery, but God! He kept her and He kept us and she is walking in complete healing today! We pray this encourages someone to keep trusting God NO MATTER THE CIRCUMSTANCE. He will see you through! We found out at 3 months old that she had a heart defect. After trying a less invasive procedure that did not correct the issue, we were told she had to have open heart surgery. Tallk about a gut punch. We at first were troubled and distraught to learn she needed this at such an early age! We were praying for her to be healed miraculously and that this cup would pass, but we had to walk through this with complete and total trust and faith that the Lord would see her and us through this. we had to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear! We let go and let God do what he does best. He is God and He knows what is best for her so we trusted that all would be well and was!
