Former Formula E and Formula 2 champion, Nyck De Vries debuted in Formula 1 in an unexpected way during the Italian GP. On Friday morning, he took Sebastian Vettel’s Aston Martin into high-speed track of Monza for the first practice session. Then Williams, Alexander Albon was diagnosed with a serious health condition which prevented him from taking part further in the Italian race weekend. Then the Williams duties were handed over to the Mercedes reserve driver, Nyck de Vries.
