Alriiight! What's going on foxes?! I'm pretty excited to bring you all Resident Evil 2 remake in a walkthrough series. From the moment this game came out for PS1 more than 20 years ago I loved it and played it many times. When I caught wind they were remaking it I thought I'd pick it up but never did UNTIL now. Guys join me in this adventure of extreme reactions and jumpscares as I attempt to complete this masterpiece. This will be a complete walkthrough featuring all bosses and only on PS5. Let's get them boys and girls! Resident Evil 2 is a 2019 survival horror game developed and published by Capcom. A remake of the 1998 game Resident Evil 2, it was released for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in January 2019 and for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S in June 2022. Players control rookie police officer Leon S. Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield as they attempt to escape Raccoon City during a viral outbreak that transforms citizens and other creatures into zombies. Unlike the original, which uses tank controls and fixed camera angles, the remake features "over-the-shoulder" third-person shooter gameplay similar to Resident Evil 4 and more recent games in the series that allows players the option to move while using their weapons similar to Resident Evil 6. The assisted and standard difficulty modes deviate from the original by featuring autosaves and allowing players to save as often as they would like inside safe rooms. If the player chooses to play on "Hardcore" difficulty, players will be required to collect and use a finite number of ink ribbons to save the game's progress, much like in the original game. Although Leon and Claire will both start with handguns at the beginning of their scenarios, each has different weapons that can be obtained throughout the game. Weapons can also be customized by finding and equipping gun parts that will improve their performance.
