2025-01-25 8:30 Saturday celebration of the Holy Mass

Good morning everyone and welcome to the celebration of the Holy Mass and the Feast of the Conversion of Saint Paul the Apostle. As told in Acts; Saul, as Paul was first known, was a tentmaker from Tarsus who zealously persecuted the followers of Christ. While travelling on the road to Damascus, he was struck down amdist a blinding light from heaven and a voice asked, "Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?" Saul asked, "Who are you, Lord?" The reply came, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting." In the reading from the Holy Gospel today, Saint Mark writes of when Jesus said to the Eleven, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to the whole of creation." The Responsorial Psalm is Psalm 117: "Go out to all the world and tell the good news."
