A Destroyer that stood alone against Japan

USS Edsall. Simultaneously one of the most famous doomed last stands of World War Two...and one of the ones that gets the least attention. Which is a shame, as she stood alone against the best Japan had and embarrassed them for nearly two hours. A single old and damaged destroyer making the Japanese work to sink her. The very same Japanese pilots and crews that had struck Pearl Harbor and would continue to rampage until Midway. Edsall's story is one that deserves more attention, for all that we'll never have the full story.
