What's happening to my Moon Cactus?

What's happening to my Moon Cactus?

A Moon Cactus is actually Gymnocalycium mihanovichii grafted to dragonfruit stock, Hylocereus undatus! Sometimes the grafted cactus loses its will to live and stops uptaking the energy from the base. When that happens with Moon Cactus, the Hylocereus will began to put out new growth. At that point, you can cut off the sad Gymnocalycium and let the dragonfruit do its thing, so at least you still have a happy plant. ✿✿✿ Future video ideas, input, or questions?
