Lieutenant Pigeon * Mouldy Old Dough (Original Master)

From Rob Woodward and Nigel Fletcher's 2002 cd "25 Years Since The No.1" on SMA 1601. To quote "Not only does this CD include the 'disco' version of M.O.D. and three other tracks, but the version of the original Mouldy Old Dough is straight off the original master! This means that it is better quality than any other version previously issued". M.O.D. only became a hit after Belgian TV used it as the theme for an evening news magazine programme. It entered the Belgian charts at the end of June 1972 and reached #1 there in August, only entering the UK charts in mid-September 1972, reaching #1 a month later.
