Best of Hromadske Documentaries: Donbas — The New Exclusion Zone

In the next instalment of Hromadske’s “Best of Documentaries” series we bring you Donbas: The New Exclusion Zone, to coincide with Ukraine’s annual Miners’ Day on August 26. The ecological damage of war in this former center of mining and industry, which is now occupied by Russia-led separatists, could force a further 2.5 million people to flee the region. Hromadske went to investigate the science and politics behind this catastrophe.
