Rollover Crash Sends Five People to the Hospital

JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP -- Several people rushed to the hospital after a crash. just after 6 p.m. Sunday on Farmersville-West Carrollton Road near Weaver Road. Deputies say a red truck went left of center, sideswiped another truck and crashed into that truck's trailer. The impact caused the red truck to flip into a creek bed. Five people went to the hospital for minor injuries. No one in the white truck was injured. Neighbors say several accidents have happened on this road. "They drive way too fast out here and they need to patrol a lot more. They pass out here all the time. I'm surprised we haven't had more wrecks than we had," said neighbor Tammy Columbe. It's still unclear if either driver will be cited.
