They reach there and realize Gary was telling the truth. Jigglypuff followed our heroes. Brock wonders why this island is famous and an old guy says the volcano in this island provides them with a lot of hot springs and attracted huge number of tourists and trainers stopped coming here and tourists ruined this island. Ash asks about the gym and he shows it. He gives his card to our heroes if they need any help. They go to a pokemon center and finds out its full. They try some hotels but they all are full too. Gary’s got a room and a banquet, teasing Ash as usual. Jigglypuff appears. Our heroes run away. Everyone’s asleep, hearing Jigglypuff’s song. It’s mad and draws on their face as usual. They remember the card the old guy gave. The direction to their hotel is a riddle. Misty guesses it and finds the Big Riddle Inn. As a prize for solving his riddle, he gives them free rooms. He receives a call saying pokemons in pokemon lab are being kidnapped. It’s Team Rocket and Pikachu uses thunder to blast them away and saves all the pokemon. As a reward for saving those pokemons, he tells them that the gym leader Blaine built a secret gym. They take a bath in the hot spring. Togepi plays and accidentally reveals the path to the gym. They go in and finds the gym above the lava. The hotel owner is also the gym leader, Blaine. Ash chooses his Squirtle against his Ninetales. Fire Spin of Ninetales was too powerful and defeats Squirtle. Ash chooses Charizard and Blaine changes his pokemon to Rhyhorn. Charizard disobeys Ash, flies away and gets disqualified. Pikachu focuses its thunder on Rhyhorn’s horn which acts like a lightning rod against a ground type like Rhyhorn and defeats it. Blaine chooses Magmar. Pikachu dodges Magmar’s fire punch and gets cornered. Magmar uses Fire Blast. Look at next episode to know what happened.
