Catherine Barnard on LBC: Questions over plans to remove over 4000 ‘retained’ EU law after Brexit

The process of ‘sunsetting’ laws envisioned under the Retained EU Law (Revocation and Reform) Bill – introduced into the UK Parliament in the Autumn 2022 – has led to fears of significant legal uncertainty. Catherine Barnard spoke with LBC about whether the government is on track to achieve its aim.
