Captain John "Soap" MacTavish and Captain John Price are now fugitives, framed for the terrorist attacks orchestrated by Vladimir Makarov. They team up with a new ally, Yuri, a Russian loyalist with a history tied to Makarov. The globe is thrown into chaos as Makarov unleashes a full-scale war, with Russia invading the United States and launching attacks across Europe. You'll step into the boots of various characters, including Price, Soap, Yuri, and members of a Delta Force team codenamed "Metal." Their pursuit takes them across the world, from war-torn cities in the US and Europe to clandestine operations in Africa and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Team Metal fights on the front lines of the Russian invasion in New York City and beyond, desperately trying to repel the enemy and rescue key figures. As the story unfolds, shocking betrayals are revealed, alliances shift, and the true extent of Makarov's ruthlessness becomes terrifyingly clear. The campaign culminates in a personal and desperate hunt by Price and Yuri to finally confront Makarov and end his reign of terror. It's a high-octane, action-packed narrative that concludes the original Modern Warfare trilogy with a bang.
