Elderberries: Native Plants to SC

Today we are taking a look at the Elderberry Bush. Elderberries are native to South Carolina as well as many other states in the South and North. The American Elderberry is highly sought after for its said healing properties of Colds and the Flu. Wildlife also loves this bush as well. I use it every year during bow season and beginning rifle season. I use this along with a thermacell. This jacket is cool because of the netting and mosquitos cannot bite you through it.
