Pseudo Study: Dragonite the OG Dragon

Pseudo Study: Dragonite the OG Dragon

Hello Trainers Professor Palm here and Welcome back to Pseudo Study. For this series will be looking at pseudo legendary Pokémon as every region has introduced them and they play a big part especially towards the end. Today we’re going back to the where it all started in the Kanto region with the OG dragon itself Dragonite. It’s crazy to think that dragon was once the rarest typing, but back in the first two Gens it was just like Ghost Type as there were only just 3 or each in Kanto and only one new one in Jotho. Still it’s great that we have more dragon Pokémon and so many Pseudo legendary Pokémon are dragon type. Now when looking at Dragonite ti see if it still holds up, it most certainly does. It’s one of the most powerful dragon Pokémon ever, but unlike the rest of the other Pseudo legendary Pokémon, Dragonite isn’t aggressive nor is it pure power, it’s a big marshmallow that loves hugs and has a huge heart. These Pokémon are also guardian angels as they fly around the sea in search of those in need. Because of them going in for rescues they’re know as both “The Sea Incarnate” and “The Gaurdian of the Sea”. Sadly as incredible as these Pokémon are they’re very rare to find in the wild as many can be shy and live on Dragonite island somewhere in the ocean. Dragonite are also rather intelligent Pokémon as it’s said they not only can understand humans, but can easily learn any language. It’s also incredible that these Pokémon have served on many dragon type expert’s teams just like Lance. However as cute as Dragonite is, don’t let that fool you. Get on it’s bad side and you’ll wish you never had met one or heard the name Dragonite as they’ll show you true Dragon Power. They aren’t the first pseudo legendary Pokémon for nothing. Crazy tj think this Pokémon started a trend that was given a name by fans, there are so few other Pokémon that can do that and seeing Dragonite was the first really does make in the most unique. I wonder that if because of that, is that the reason why Dragonite doesn’t get so much attention? If you like this Pokémon, I don’t think you’re alone. Dragonite has been able to be caught with it’s line in so many games. I guess that proves even the developers also truly love this Pokémon and honestly what’s not to love about it? If you’re a dragon Pokémon fan, new to the series, or looking to raise a dragon Pokémon or Pseudo legendary Pokémon I cannot recommend Dragonite enough. After all it’s the OG Dragon. 0:00 - Intro 3:19 - Special Thanks & Shououts 4:20 - Transition 4:36 - The entire Dragonite Line 5:38 - Dragonite’s Habitat 6:07 - Dragonite’s First Game 7:10 - Dragonite’s Lore 7:39 - Pokédex Data 9:19 - First Major Anime Appearance 13:31 - Fun Facts & Tidbits 15:35 - Weakness 16:54 - Strengths 17:47 - Final Words 20:12 - Questions 21:40 - Outro SPECIAL THANKS TO PuffySparklez for the request of this video.
