Today I'll show you one way / trick to avoid overmixing your watercolors. This will probably be the most relevant to people like me, who tend to mix a lot of grays and end up with too muted a painting. What you'll learn is to use 3 primary colors (or more), without mixing at all. By using pure yellows, reds and blues, you'll preserve the richness of hue and temperature, and avoid a dull painting.
