Principles Of Harvest - Remember The Poor | Apostle Grace Lubega Phaneroo Devotional | Lyrical Cover
Apostle Grace Lubega Leviticus 19:9-10 (MSG); When you harvest your land, don’t harvest right up to the edges of your field or gather the gleanings from the harvest. Don’t strip your vineyard bare or go back and pick up the fallen grapes. Leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am GOD, your God. — God, through our theme scripture, reveals to us one of the fundamental principles of how men should harvest. He says, do not strip your vineyard bare, leave something for the poor or the foreigner. What does this mean? God does not expect you to consume everything you receive, remember those that are less advantaged than you. For example, if you receive your salary at the end of the month, by principle, spare something for someone you know is less well off. It is contrary to the principles of the scriptures for you to earn a pay or an income and go off to spend merrily on yourself, gorging yourself on food, shopping, and all manner of luxury with no other person in mind. Even if you are spending on essentials such as utilities, school fees, rent, and meals, there must be a portion, at the very least, that you reserve for people who do not have much. Remember that you are a steward of everything that you receive, no matter how little it is. God seeks to bless the disadvantaged through you. As you respond to this wisdom, He will trust you with more. Hallelujah! PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this word. I know that I have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I live in an atmosphere of abundance and it is out of this abundance that I give, reach out, and bless those around me, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
