Arrivals for UK cabinet meeting on Brexit deal

(18 Oct 2019) British Cabinet ministers were arriving at Cabinet Office in London's Westminster on Friday for a meeting ahead of a key Brexit vote to be held in Parliament on Saturday. After winning the backing of European Union leaders for his new Brexit deal, Prime Minister Boris Johnson was in London Friday looking to secure enough support to get the deal through the fractious British Parliament. Johnson returned from an EU summit in Brussels overnight for what is expected to be a busy day attempting to persuade lawmakers to vote for the divorce deal at a rare Saturday sitting of Parliament. It is expected to be a knife-edge vote.
