Treaties Recognition Week 2022

In 2016, Ontario passed the first legislation of its kind in Canada declaring the first full week of November as Treaties Recognition Week. This year Treaties Recognition Week is November 6 to 12, 2022. On Wednesday, November 9 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., join us for an interactive talk with Blue Sky Strategic Group about the intentions and history of treaties in Northern Ontario. By learning more about our collective treaty rights and obligations, we can better understand and nurture relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. We are all treaty people.
