Mexico’s Expoweed Merges Pot With Mexican Culture

Welcome to Mexico's Marijuana Expo. The second annual Expoweed Mexico, which took place from Aug. 18 to 20 in Mexico City, was filled with glass blowers, pharmaceutical companies, and marijuana hobbyists. Workshops provided information on medicinal uses and the cultural history of weed. Though Medical marijuana was legalized in Mexico in June, legalizing recreational use is still unpopular in the country. The event's organizers say they're not promoting weed consumption — just the medical benefits of it. That's good news for Mexicans with glaucoma.
